2. Information and consent

The Lei da Proteção de Dados Pessoais (hereinafter “LPDP”) and the Regulamento Geral de Proteção de Dados (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter “GDPR”) ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

Under the law, "personal data" is considered to be any information, of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, so that the protection does not cover data of legal entities.

By accepting this Privacy Policy, the user gives their informed, express, free and unequivocal consent for the personal data provided through the website https://www.ornatopiercing.pt to be included in a file under the responsibility of Ornato Piercing, whose processing, under the terms of the LPDP and the GDPR, complies with the appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

Ornato Piercing maintains a database with the registration of its clients. The data in this database consists solely of the data provided by the clients themselves at the time of registration, and is collected and processed automatically, in accordance with the terms approved by the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, by Ornato Piercing, the entity responsible for the corresponding file.

Under no circumstances will information be requested regarding philosophical or political beliefs, party or union affiliation, religious faith, private life, and racial or ethnic origin, as well as data relating to health and sexual life, including genetic data.

Under no circumstances will we carry out any of the following activities with the personal data provided to us through this website:

Ornato Piercing declares that it has implemented and will continue to implement the necessary technical and organizational security measures to guarantee the security of personal data provided to it, aiming to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing and/or access, taking into account the current state of technology, the nature of the stored data and the risks to which it is exposed.


Ornato Piercing guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its clients, whether during registration or the purchase/ordering process of products or services. Data collection and processing is carried out securely, preventing its loss or manipulation. All data will be entered into a Secure Server (128-bit SSL) that encrypts/encodes it (transforms it into a code). The user can verify that their browser is secure if the padlock symbol appears or if the address starts with https instead of http.

Personal data is processed with the legally required level of protection to guarantee its security and prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing or access, taking into account the state of technology, with the user being aware and accepting that internet security measures are not infallible.


Whenever Ornato Piercing accesses any personal data, it undertakes to:

 

  • Store it using legally required security measures of a technical and organizational nature that guarantee its security, thus preventing alteration, loss, unauthorized processing or access, in accordance with the state of technology at any given time, the nature of the data and the possible risks to which it may be exposed;

  • Use the data exclusively for the purposes previously defined;

  • Ensure that the data is processed only by employees whose intervention is necessary for the provision of the service, and who are bound by the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If there is a possibility that the information may be disclosed to third parties, these parties must be obliged to maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.

One of the purposes for which we process personal data provided by users is to send electronic communications with information relating to commercial and promotional communications.


Whenever we make such a communication, it will be directed exclusively to users who have previously and expressly authorized it.

8. Control authority
